Memorial Closure for Officer Ricks

 👋We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of the South Carolina State Trooper who was killed in Orangeburg. Our prayers are with his family, fellow troopers, and the entire law enforcement community as they grieve this heartbreaking loss.

This trooper was more than just a public servant—he was a neighbor and a friend. On many Sundays, he would stop by Pauline’s Dining Room to pick up brisket and mac & cheese for himself and his family. It was always our honor to serve him, and it is now our privilege to serve his family, friends, and colleagues in a greater way.

We have been asked to prepare the repast following the funeral service at Shandon Baptist Church in Columbia, where hundreds of troopers, family members, and community supporters will gather. We count it as a sacred responsibility to extend love, hospitality, and comfort in this difficult time.
